With a mem­ber­ship of near­ly 5,400 physi­cians, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Association was cre­at­ed to pro­mote the edu­ca­tion­al and pro­fes­sion­al inter­ests of der­ma­to­log­ic sur­geons; pro­vide a vehi­cle for advo­ca­cy and pub­lic edu­ca­tion efforts on behalf of der­ma­to­log­ic sur­geons and their patients; and address socio-eco­nom­ic issues that impact the prac­tice of der­ma­to­log­ic surgery as a spe­cial­ty. The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Association advo­cates for patient safe­ty and access to qual­i­ty care, skin can­cer pre­ven­tion and edu­ca­tion, and fair and appro­pri­ate office-based surgery regulation.

DDP designed a site built around clear­ly defined con­stituen­cies that facil­i­tat­ed access to infor­ma­tion using a vari­ety of Web 2.0 user inter­face tech­nolo­gies. The result is a much more dense and fea­ture-rich web­site that is acces­si­ble and friend­ly, while pur­pose­ful­ly rein­forc­ing the ADA brand.

With a grow­ing mem­ber­ship of over 6,000, and an increas­ing need to stay com­pet­i­tive, ACFAS want­ed to redesign a repo­si­tion both their brand and their over­all online pres­ence. DDP embraced what was already there—highly qual­i­fied sur­geons, intel­li­gent and ambi­tious stu­dents, and a pub­lic seek­ing the most accu­rate and use­ful foot and ankle infor­ma­tion available.
