University School 2006–2008 Admissions Materials & Viewbook

DDP designed University School’s 2006 Viewbook which is sent to parents of prospective students. Our goal was to unify their two campuses (separated by grades K–8 and 9–12) to underscore its continuous K–12 curriculum, while also presenting the reader with a clear understanding of the differences between each campus and grade. The book was presented in a sequential manner, where each spread described and highlighted a grade level beginning with Kindergarten and ending with the twelfth grade. Included were portraits of students that visually showed the growth of a child from Kindergarten through twelfth grade, and offered an opportunity to describe how each grade is unique. Moreover, this structure gave evidence to how US, year-by-year, prepares boys for college and adulthood. Each school (Lower, Middle, Upper) was separately identified by a distinct color that together, presented a positive, vibrant setting.
